In addition to her parents and grandchildren, family members include her children, Richard A. Barton and his wife, Karen, Martinez, GA, Brian Barton, Clearwater, SC and Amy Boothe and her husband, Shanon, Aiken, SC; siblings, Judy Hall, Belvedere, SC, her twin, Michael A. Beard and his companion, Eddye Hancock, Clearwater, SC and the late Richard "Dickie" Beard.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, June 17th, 2017, from 5 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. Friends are also welcome to call at the home of Judy Hall, 45 Richland Rd. North Augusta, SC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 18th, 2017, at 2 o'clock at Clearwater First Baptist Church, Clearwater, SC, with Pastor John Bolin and Mr. Todd Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Active pallbearers will be J.R. Richardson, Kevin Ward, Ken Ward, Byron James, Steve Smith and Bruce Attaway. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Lowe, Rick Peterson and Marty Collins.

Due to her love for her church, it has been suggested that if so desired, memorials in her memory be made to Clearwater First Baptist Church. (www.clearwaterfbc.org)

Ms.Mary Beard was absolutely the sweetest woman I have ever met. Any time she could lend a hand or you was in need of prayer she was always there. I could call or go by her house anytime and ask her to pray for me and she never hesitated. She was so loving and caring , she will never be forgotten. Now she's with Jesus who she loved the most. She earned her place in Heaven, Rest forever more. Love, Erika Rhodes
