Maurice Nason Obituary

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.- Funeral services for Mr. Maurice E. Nason, 74, of Crestview Drive, North Augusta, S.C., who died May 30, 2004, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Rev. Melvin W. Flail, Jr. and Rev. W. Sherrill Dunn officiating. Interment in Westover Memorial Park with Military Honors. Mr. Nason was a native of Union, New Hampshire, having made North Augusta his home for the past 53 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from the E. I. DuPont Company at the Savannah River Plant. Mr. Nason was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jean T. Nason; two sons, Maurice E. Nason, Jr., Winnsboro, S.C., David T. Nason, North Augusta; a brother, Glendon Nason, Union, N.H.; two grandson, Brandon Nason and Samuel Nason. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Monday evening from 6 to 8. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David Nason, 1188 Freeland Drive, North Augusta, S.C.
