Michael Davis Obituary

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Michael W. Davis entered into rest on Sunday, August 7, 2011, in the Charlie Norwood VAMC. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy. During his career he received several awards and letters of commendation for his outstanding and dedicated service. After retiring from the military, Mr. Davis was employed by PACTIV. Mr. Davis was fully aware of his limited abilities, his motto was Please let me do for myself'. He was an inspiration to many within his community and continued to be self sufficient until the end. Mr. Davis will be truly missed and is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Davis; sons, Michael (Stephanie) Haynes, CT., Andrew Davis, TX., Jeremy Davis, TN., and Brandon Eubanks, GA.; daughters, Nichole Eubanks, GA., and Deborah Davis, TN.; grandchildren, Donovan Haynes, Portia Haynes, Laila Davis and Cameil Davis; brothers, Brian Davis and Harold (Melanie) Davis, PA.; sisters, June Brewer, VA., Leola Davis and Paula Davis, PA., and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, August 13, 2011, Kinsey & Walton Chapel with Reverend Earnest Swinton, officiating.
