Phillip Boatwright Obituary

Retired JOHNSTON, S.C. - Mr. Phillip Earl Boatwright, 68, husband of Marie Brown Boatwright, of Church St., passed away Friday February 26, 2010 at University Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Sunday February 28, 2010 at 2:30 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. Internment will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield. Mr. Boatwright was a native of and lifelong resident of Edgefield. He was a retired Truck Driver and Mechanic and was a member of the Edgefield Church of God. Mr. Boatwright is survived by his wife, daughters- Anita Boatwright and Christine Hall; sons- Howard Arthurs and Michael Arthurs; brothers- Eddie and Don Boatwright; Sisters- Jeannette Stone and Rachel Hall; 13 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home. Sign the guestbook at AugustaChronicle.com

You and Pop always made feel like one of your grandchildren. I thank my lucky stars that I got to be a part of the family and I loved Pop dearly and I am here if you need anything I Love You!
