Richard And I go back many years, high school and college. But I remember a few years back Richard did a friends Eulogy, Sammy Evans here in Augusta. I told him after there service what a great job he did covering Sammy’s life.
He said Bobby, it’s easy when you know someone’s life. That’s so true. It will be easy for Pastor Paul to handle since everyone knew the man Richard was.
I do know Richard’s legacy will live forever and he will long be forgotten.
Take it easy my friend and set back and listen to some Good Ole Southern Gospel Singers who are Now Resting High On That Mountain With You.
God Bless You Carol Ann and and the children

Richard Goolsby was a true friend and leader. He was always helping others, always lending a hand, always making sure everyone else was safe, healthy and fed. We remember the countless hours he served on the sidelines on football Friday nights. The thousands of people he showed love to by his healing hands are all the better for him. And his love for good, hearty food that just made you feel at home was such a beautiful part of him. We love you Mr. Richard! Thank you for all your selfless love! We will miss you.
