Mr. Donald Watkins "Don" Dunagan, 80, of Graniteville, SC, beloved husband of forty-nine years to Gloria Jean Marsh, entered into rest on Saturday, February 28, 2026, while in the comfort of his home.

A lifelong area resident, he is the son of the late Watkins Luther and Jewel Lee Bates Dunagan. Don was a graduate of North Augusta High and received his BA in (sociology ) from Augusta College.

In 1976, he opened the doors of the first Dunagan's Sewing and Vacuum Center. As the business grew, he was successful in opening three additional locations. Don retired in 2018. However, he still enjoyed going to the store telling the current team what they were doing wrong.

Don as a longtime member of Hillview Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting, playing pickleball, watching sports and traveling.

Along with his wife, Don is loved and will be missed by his children, Karl (Dena) Dunagan, Clay Dunagan, Mindie (Clint) Blackwell and Scott (Raven) Dunagan, a brother, David (Pat) Dunagan, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kara, Josh, Willow, Cole, Shelby, Lane and Westin., as well as other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11 o'clock at Hillview Baptist Church, (Building C) Graniteville, SC. Pastor Mike McAlpin will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be

Lane Dunagan, Westin Dunagan, Jonathan Dunagan, Josh Dunagan, Carl Smith, Fred Smith, Zach Smith, David Smith

Dent Johnson, Larry Shealy, Gene Hair, Lloyd Hatfield, David Maxwell, Ken Green, Mark Mathis, Bill Johnson, Ronnie Carroll. As well as his pickleball buddies.

The family has respectively requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Don be made to Hillview Baptist Church. (www.hillviewchurch.org)
