To The family of Robert K. Arant, Jr: While I did not personaly know Robert Arant, or rather CW-4 Arant, I know, from reading his service record, that he was one of those "Special People" who served his country well during times of need. His service spanned three wars in which our nation was engaged, and he participated in each one. CW-4 Arant was one of those folks I would like to have known, but didn't. He was a true American, who did his duty, and did it well. The entire Arant family can be justly proud of him as a Father and Family Leader. He attained that status in life that many aspire to, but never attain. I know the Good Lord will continue to bless each and everyone member of his family, and will take Robert into his fold for eternity. I extend my sincere condolences in your time of loss. James E. Pyle, LTC US Army, Retired, formerly of Augusta, Ga.
