Douglas Arant Obituary
Douglas Wayne Arant, 55, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Mr. Arant is survived by his mother, Patricia Arant, brother, Stan Arant (Cherie), nephew, Xavier Arant, nieces, McKenzie Arant and Hailey Arant, uncle, Mitchell Arant (Frances), aunt Emma Thompson, uncle Roger Arant (Brenda), and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in passing by his father, Charles Arant, and brother, Russell Wayne Arant.
Doug's mother, Patricia, fondly remembers a trip they made together to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and an unforgettable trip to see the fall foliage in Vermont. Doug was mechanically inclined, like his father, and traveled many states working as a commercial sheet metal mechanic. In his spare time Doug enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Holland Funeral Service, located at, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. A visitation will be held prior to the service.
Mr. Arant will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Lakeland Memorial, located at,1901 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112
Flowers are appreciated, or if preferable, please make donations in memory of Douglas Arant to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
