Bobby Eugene Manus, a beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Born on April 22, 1972. Bobby’s life was marked by dedication to his family and community, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bobby was a man whose strength, kindness, and unwavering faith left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. A hardworking, God-fearing, and prideful man, he believed deeply in doing right by others and in providing for the people he loved. He was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back if someone simply asked, never hesitating to help those in need.
Bobby’s roots were deeply embedded in family values, and he held a special place in the hearts of many. He was the cherished son of Eunice Manus, who survives him, and the late Bobby Vann Manus. As a brother, he was closely connected to John, Mike, and Wendy Manus, who continue to honor his memory. His extended family ties included beloved aunt Johnnie Manus and uncle Jerry Manus, both of whom preceded him in death, as well as nephew Cole Manus.
To his family, he was the rock that held everything together. His steady presence, wisdom, and quiet strength were a source of comfort and guidance through life’s ups and downs. He had a way of bringing warmth into every room he entered, often with a smile that could lift spirits and laughter that drew people close.
Above all, Bobby was a devoted father to his children Anthony, Cody, and Payton Manus, whose lives he profoundly shaped with his unwavering love and guidance. He also embraced the role of stepfather to Paul, Josh, and Grace Hollingsworth, demonstrating the warmth and strength of his character in nurturing their spirits. His legacy is further enriched by the joy and pride he found in his grandchildren Mina, Hadley, and Grayson Manus, along with Addeline and Nathaniel Sterrett.
One of the many gifts he shared with the world was his voice. When he sang, it could give anyone chills. Whether among family, friends, or a room full of people, his singing had a way of touching hearts and creating moments that will never be forgotten.
