Robert Miles Jr.

BATH, S.C. - Robert Wayne Bobby Miles, Jr., age 51 of Bath, S.C., loving husband of Cheryl Harris Miles and son of Robert Wayne Miles, Sr. of Pennsylvania and Dorothy Tanton Miles of Clearwater, S. C., entered into rest on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Kevin Wayne Miles of Aiken, S.C.; children, Sandy Kaney and Paul Williams both of North Augusta, S.C. and Joseph Schultz of Bath, S.C.; sisters, Lisa Best of Beech Island, S.C. and Beverly James of Wagener, S.C.; a brother, Timothy Miles of Clearwater, S.C. and ten grandchildren. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a Machine Technician with Augusta Select Tissue Company. His family stated that he was a great PaPa with a great big warm heart, especially when it came to his grandchildren, whom he just adored. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren s baseball games. His other hobbies included fishing and keeping his truck in shipshape condition. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the short lifespan that God granted him on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, this Friday evening, October 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Austin Scott officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Michael Swygert, Tim Baker, Tony Tanton, Michael Best, Matt Workman, Sean Boivin and Tim Miles.
