I remember Roman fondly from the brief time I spent working at Turner's Music as a high school student many, many years ago. Roman was always kind, funny, and pleasant, and he made my job all the more enjoyable with his presence. I offer my sincere sympathy to his family and friends for their loss.

I worked with Roman for many years at Turner Music House. I also worked with him for about 10 years at the Richmond County Health Department. He was a wonderful friend. I will certainly miss him and I will cherish the good memories I have of him.

I'm very saddened to hear of Romy's passing. If this is the same Roman that worked at Colonial Bakery and Krystal's during the mid to late 60's, then he was my buddy along with Barny Pierce. I started there in my teens in the shop and working my way through Augusta College. I really enjoyed our friendship. I am white, but Romy and I were like brothers and brothers in the eyes of the Lord. He always had a big smile on his face and funny story to tell. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.
