I worked with Ron at Dial Page for several years. Billy Jackson, Lyle Penley and I use to call him "Big Time" as a joke after he bought his new Cadillac. Ron was a one-of-a-kind character, and well liked by all of us. I was fortunate enough to receive a call from him the week before his death. We spoke for around 30 minutes, laughed about the "old times", and I hung up the phone comforted that Ron was doing so well. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Parrish family.

I was saddened to hear the news of Ron's passing. They say a good friend is someone that you can go a long period of time without seeing and pick right up where you left off. That's how it was when I would run into Ron. You will be missed.
