Ruby Wheeler Hinton

Retired Accountant WARRENTON, Ga. -Mrs. Ruby Wheeler Hinton, age 82, beloved wife of the late Mr. Algie B. Hinton of Brown Circle died Saturday May 6, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Warrenton with Dr. Rob Bray and Rev. Donald Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, GA. Mrs. Hinton will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services. Mrs. Hinton, a native of Taliaferro County, GA, was the daughter of the late Lincoln & Lucy Evans Wheeler. She was a retired accountant and a member of the First Baptist Church of Warrenton and the Laura Lee Sunday School Class. Her family said, Mrs. Hinton will be remembered as a devoted wife of 55 years and a loving mother. Survivors include, a son, Russell W. (Kim) Hinton, Lawrenceville, GA, and two grandchildren, Wesley Barrett (Tiffany) Hinton, Jacksonville, FL, and Courtney Leigh Hinton, Lawrenceville, GA. Mrs. Hinton was preceded in death by a brother, Frazier Wheeler, and a sister, Annie Jean Bedsole. Pallbearers will be Larry Rachels, Jim McMichael, Sonny Pierce, James Raley, Alton Johnson, and Vernon Burkey. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church. Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 P. M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
