AUGUSTA, Ga. - Steven Gray, 59, entered into rest Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Georgia Regents University Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2014, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Timothy Pendrey officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Gray, son of the late Wayne Spencer and Betty June Edison Gray, was a service technician for Howards Appliance, where he had worked for 45 years. He was also an avid golfer. He is survived by his son, Stephen Wayne Gray, Jr., of Augusta; his daughter, Ashley Gray, also of Augusta; his grandson, Jacen Frank; his granddaughters, Kaiya Frank and Lilly Nelson; his sisters, Priscilla Stuth, Teresa Cockman, both of Augusta, and Vicki Watkins, of Rome; and the mother of his children, Gail Gray, of Augusta. Pallbearers will be his coworkers at Howards Appliance. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the hour of service, Friday, April 18, 2014, at the funeral home.
