A memorial will be held at 1 p.m., on November 15, at Georgia Regents Health System, Lee Auditorium, for Captain Mangelly and others who donated their bodies to science.

Chris Mangelly has always been a very good friend to me, and although I only met his father once or twice, I am very sorry for his loss. Peace and love to the entire family.

Captain Mangelly was a proud US military veteran who was a hero to the people of Albania who he fought to rescue from communism. He always had a smile and warm welcome to all, along with an amazing story from his long and accomplished life. Grandpa Mangelly lived to serve others and found joy in helping those in need. He will be missed and remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
