I only met Capt. Mangelly once, at an Albanian dinner at Anthony's Pier 4 in Boston about 1985. But I knew many of the men he commanded in the 4000 Labor Service Company at Wachterhof, and have heard many of them praise his command abilities and deft handling of the difficult situations of political refugees. Please accempt my condolences for your loss and know of the respect I held for him.
