Not sure what to say?

Capt Thomas Mangelly was an extraordinarily loving and gifted man with a stellar reputation in the Albanian-American community nation-wide.
We join his wife and her entire family in remembering him in prayer for a life so well and honorably lived.
May his memory ever be eternal!
I perjetshem qofte kujtimi i tij!

I only met Capt. Mangelly once, at an Albanian dinner at Anthony's Pier 4 in Boston about 1985. But I knew many of the men he commanded in the 4000 Labor Service Company at Wachterhof, and have heard many of them praise his command abilities and deft handling of the difficult situations of political refugees. Please accempt my condolences for your loss and know of the respect I held for him.

So sorry to hear of your loss La Rue, you and your family are in my prayers.

Your cousin

He was an exceptional man and was always a pleasure to be with. For many of us He and Mrs. Mangelly were our 2nd mom and dad and will be missed by all of us.

Dear Mrs. Mangelly, Chris and Christine,
A thank you to Mr. Mangelly for being my Dad's good friend, for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, for Saturday summer swimming, for cribbage nights, lasagna, pizza and beer, for building things, loving animals, advice and encouragement, for your laughter and humor and so much more…
Thanks for the memories.

I am so sorry to read about Mr Mangelly's passing!! I took accordion from him many years ago. I still have my little red cape and pin from marching in the Christmas parade. My prayers are with the family.
