Tommie Sampson Jr. Obituary

Retired SFC Tommie Sampson Jr. entered into rest on June 21, 2018. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Herman Bing officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden with full military honors. Survivors are a daughter, Stephanie Denice Sampson; two grandchildren, Braxton Brown and Dahha Sampson; stepson, Willie Golphin, Jr.; two step-granddaughters, Wakia Verdree and Candice Golphin; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah, GA

I am terribly sorry to hear of Mr. Sampson's death. He and I had some good times together discussing the bible and various bible topics, and of course we had to talk about his favorite pass time, playing pinochle. He surely will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers will continue with the family, and remember that our God is one of comfort and he cares for you. 1Peter 5:6,7.
