We still miss Toyian in the family and at work. He truly enjoyed both, as well as all of his Birthdays. We remember him today especially this Veterans Day 11-11-14. Barbara and Harold you raised a well mannered young man. He was so polite to the soldiers here at Fort Gordon, God Bless The Mothers that have lost their sons to WAR, protecting our country. This office is not the same since HE said to us "I HATE TO LEAVE YOU, BUT I GOT TO GO" as HE LEFT our office for his promotion to the Business Management Office, never to return. What a Beautiful Person he was and a Beautiful Life he LIVED.

I had to revisit your guest book. I had to wish a Happy Birthday to the BEST son that a mother could ever have. This the first birthday that we have not celebrated together. It will be a very tough day for me. I knew you were extra special however during the past four months I have found out just how special you were and your footprint on so many other people's lives. Four months later they are still posting on your face book page. In fact they posted birthday wishes before I could. That's a testament to you and the life you life. Today I have to celebrate this birthday without you. I celebrate a life well lived, the legacy you left behind, and the SON you were to me. I MISS YOUR PHYSICAL PRESENCE. I LOVE YOU. Wow! I am deeply sadden to have just found out about Toyian. I've known him about 4yrs on Ft Gordon, we worked in the same building, and he was always smiling. I currently work in Kuwait and we had exchanged email addresses last December when i was home in Augusta because he was interested in working overseas. My heart goes out to his parents and family. May GOD be with you and help heal you. I am so hurt, but GOD will give us all strength, so Mr. and Mrs. Williams you were truly blessed to have Toyian. May he rest in peace. Harold and Barbara hold on to your faith and GOD's unchanging hand. God gave us his only son. Continue to believe there is Good in this and we shall see this when God reveals to us. As is obvious from all the other heartfelt messages regarding your very loving baby boy and brother, Toyian--wow!!! It seems as if he went around the world and everybody knew him! I've only known him as a cousin since 2003, yet with each encounter, he had the most gigantic (spiritual) presence I've ever encountered in my life! And believe me, I don't come across this type of presence very often! As I said before y'all--take comfort in knowing u did something right by this very much missed child of yours who is now with God! Toyian was like a sweet reminder that God still does exist! I was a friend of Toyians from NAHS. I wanted to let you know that my prayers are with you and the rest of your family. Toyian was such an amazing man. One thing I loved about him, besides that infectious smile and those waves in his hair, was he loved everyone. It didn't matter who you were, what clothes you wore, what color you were, what car you drove, or how much money you had. If you treated him and others with respect he was respectful towards you and very nice. Thank you for raising such a wonderful man that we could all enjoy. I have been extremely sad about this but the good news is I know where he is and I know where I'm going. I get peace from the fact that I will see him again, in a much better place and I can't wait for that day.
