RIDGE SPRING, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mr. Walter C. Elliott, 54, of Dairy Road, Ridge Spring, SC who left this earthly struggle to take his Heavenly Flight on January 18, 2008 will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Breezy Hill Baptist Church. Pastor Robert Riley officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park. Mr. Elliott was a native of Dallas, TX, having made Aiken County his home for the past 14 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a customer service engineer with the EMC Corporation, and was an avid diver, hunter and clock repairman. Mr. Elliott was a member of Breezy Hill Baptist Church and is fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and an exceptional son. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Elliott; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Heather Elliott, Senoia, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Corey Kitts, North Augusta and Shaea and Chris Johnson, Aiken, SC; his parents, Rev. Edward and Lois Elliott, Alvaton, GA; three sisters, Rebekah Armstrong, Arlington, TX, Carolyn Martin, Home, Mexico and Laura Black, Rome, GA; six grandchildren, Christian Elliott, Brandon Elliott, Conlan Kitts, Abi Johnson, Elliott Johnson and Toby Johnson. Pallbearers will be Terry Menefee, Charles Meetze, Kent Strickland, Grady Cleveland, Joe Willis, Christopher Law and Chad Bearden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 to celebrate the life of Mr. Elliott. My mom (Katherine Chason) was just told about this from Sally H. We were both heartbroken to hear about it! We are so sorry for your loss.

I lost my dad to cancer about 3 years ago.

I remember the fun we had together at West Augusta growing up. Those are good memories.

Sally H. just told my mom (Katherine Chason) about this. I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of brother Elliot as was my mom. I remember our times at West Augusta growing up :) Good memories. I lost my dad to cancer 3 years ago. I am so sorry.
