Mr. Bailey was one of my favorite teachers at Towers HS(68'). I'll never forget him teaching our World Geography class one day from his desk chair sitting 'atop' his desk. My getting an A in his class was definitely due to his passion for teaching and genuine concern for all his students to do well.

I'm a former student of Mr. Bailey; from Towers High School, Class of 1971. I was in his classes in 1968 and 1969 and always saw him as a good man that worked hard to relate to his students while encouraging them to learn with his unique style.
Mr. Bailey proved to be a gentle man during the week that my family was notified that my eldest brother lost his life in Viet Nam. It's something that I've always remembered in life...a very special lesson by a great educator.

We mourn with you and wish you all this hope: Those of our people who have died will live again! Their bodies will come back to life. All those in their graves will wake up and sing for joy. As the sparkling refreshes the earth so the Lord will revive all those who have been long dead.- Isaiah 26:19
