Our heartfelt prayers are with the whole Lange family. We did enjoy seeing you all tonight at the funeral home.
Bill is now at peace and no longer in pain and for that we can all be very grateful. Hopefully he is already playing the drums for all those in heaven.
Lots of love,
Mallory and Hardy Johnson

To The Family and Friends of Bill Lange...it is with much sadness that I read the notice of Bill's passing. While I have not seen him in some 50+ years, I still remember him from our days at Richmond Academy, when, as cadets, we were required to be "sharpe as a tack" at all times in the ROTC activities. I always noted that Bill was always one who was ready for inspection. One instance I especially recall was seeing him walking across the campus, coming to school one morning. He was carrying his uniform and his low quarter shoes, since that day...a Tuesday...was parade day for the cadets. His shoes, in particular, glistened like glass. That was Bill Lange. He set the example for us "younger folks", and it has stayed with me all these years. I retired after 32 years of Active Army and Reserve time, and always tried to measure up to Bill's shiney shoes. I made it sometimes. And he was no slouch with his drum, either. I can imagine that all his family were extremely proud of Bill, and what he accomplished in life. His memories will be with you all, to recall and share. Please accept my condolences during your time of loss. Jim Pyle, LTC US Army, Ret. ARC Class of '50.

I didn't know Mr. Lange, but I know his son Brad. If Brad's character is a reflection of his upbringing, Mr. Lange did a good job. My condolences to the family.

Dear Pat,
Carlee and I want you to know that we love you and we are here for you. We will miss Bill very much.
Bill Lange never really retired. He just went from being one of the best merchandizers in the Wholesale Food Industry to a very successful Principle in the Real Estate Industry. His specialty was Property on the Water, primarily Clark Hill. Everybody in Augusta knows about the Fishing Tournament whose winner is Titled " Mr. Clark Hill. Well Bill Lange was " Mr. Clark Hill" in the tournament of Property at The Lake. Nobody was more knowledgeable than Bill when it came to Clark Hill. He loved The Lake.
Bill had the best work ethics and self dicipline to get the job done. I admired and loved Bill Lange. Maybe now he will actually retire unless he finds a big Lake in heaven. If he does, can't you just see him walking over a piece of property with the savy of a cat analyzing every inch to make sure he can flip it for a Profit.
I personally know that Bill Lange loved his family with all his heart. He loved Pat with a passion.
She was and will always be the Apple of His Eye.
Pat you are in our prayers.
