Wylie Hall Hutcheson

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Wylie Hall Hutcheson age 93, widow of the late Claude Hillyer Hutcheson, Sr. entered into rest on Thursday December 28, 2006 at Westwood Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held today , Saturday December 30, 2006 at Westover Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Michael Ruffin officiating. She is survived by her son Claude Hillyer Hutcheson, Jr. and daughter in law Barbara Loverin Hutcheson of Greensboro, NC; one daughter Barbara Hutcheson Golden and her husband Ronald Wayne Golden of Augusta; her granddaughter, Ashley Golden Boyd and her husband Mark Boyd and their children Avery Caroline Boyd and Grayson Mark Boyd of Evans, GA; one brother, William Jesse Hall of Warner Robins, GA and his children Robert Hall and his wife Jackie, Reynolds Hall and his wife Jean, David Hall and his wife Annette and Carol Hall Armstrong and her husband Edward and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, of Mayfield, GAand her sisters, Janie Elizabeth Hall, who died at the age of 19; and Mary Hall Cowan of Arlington, VA. Her family is especially grateful to her niece, Ann Hutcheson Barton and her husband Leon, for their love and support while she was in Beverly Villa and Westwood. The family wishes to thank the staff at Beverly Villa and Westwood for their loving care for the past five years. Mrs. Hutcheson was born in Mayfield, GA on April 8, 1913 but lived most of her life in Augusta, GA. She was the daughter of Jesse William Hall and Claudia Reynolds Hall of Mayfield,GA. She was a member of The Hill Baptist Church for seventy years. Mrs. Hutcheson graduated from the Barrett School of Nursing, University Hospital, in 1934 as a registered nurse. She was a private duty nurse at University Hospital and St. Joseph hospital for over forty five years. She was a member of the University Hospital Nursing Alumni. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, nurse and a wonderful friend to those who knew her.
