Dear Carol, Connie, Tina, and all of Bruce's family and friends,
So shocked to hear of Bruce's sudden passing. There are no magic words to ease the pain but please know that in our small community of Newark, we are all thinking and praying for those who are grieving this terrible loss. I have many great memories of Bruce and I am so glad to have known him.

Bruce will always be remembered by so many of us who attended Newark High School not only as an outstanding athlete and musician, but for his sense of humor. It is a special person who can leave a legacy of kindness, laughter, and friends. To his mother, sister, wife, daughter, and the many others grieving this untimely loss, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have never ment such a good hearted person like Bruce he would do anything for you and with a smile on his face we have had lots of good times and lots of laughs with him and at him he was a great guy and will be saddly missed in my heart.Hang in there Tina and Whitt love you lots

Mrs Johnson,Carol,Connie,and all of Bruce's family and friends,I am sorry for your loss.I had the tough task of trying to guard Bruce in Grade and Highschool basketball(he was good).The last time I spoke to Bruce, he teased me about the many times he'd burned me on the court(and boy was he right), and then we laughed together.He will be missed.
