It's nice to read these messages from your friends, dad. You are missed so much! I know you are fishing and softly pinching some of us, whispering "get a move on."
I love you!

I worked with Dave at River Street Press and Minuteman Press and we became friends during that time. Dave was a trove of knowledge and information, usually delivered with a dash of his keen wit. He is missed. Condolences to his family. And Dave, I hope you are fishing in the mountains right about now.

I was fortunate to know David as I worked with him during his days at River Street Press quite a few years ago. Getting to share with Dave let's me know how much his family misses his sense of humor and outlook on life. Prayers go forth for the family at this time as they mourn his loss!

Dave Drier gave me my first professional art job when he hired me to draw weekly editorial cartoons for the Fox Valley Sentinel when I was just 19 years old. He was a generous, thoughtful, politically savvy, articulate man who always had a twinkle in his eye. He had more integrity than any man I'd met before my acquaintance with him, and most I've met since. Here's to Dave, a fine newspaperman. My condolences to his family on his passing.

My sincere sympathy to the family of David Dreier. I knew David in Oswego Grade School and remember him as being a very sweet person. I was a very shy little girl but David was always ready to care for other children that just needed that extra help. I never knew what happened to him and wished that I had thanked him for what he had done for me. I am sure David has done great things in his life. His family should be proud. God Bless you all.

I extend my sympathies to the family of Dave Dreier! Dave and I lived across the street from one another when he and his family lived in North Aurora during our youth. He was very bright, with a good sense of humor. What I remember most vividly are our summer days of fishing the banks of the Fox River.
May his family be comforted in the knowledge that Dave's life was well lived!
