David Stenson Obituary
Dave was born on December 1, 1954 in Aurora, IL. to Elmon and Dorothy (Christenson) Stenson.
He graduated from East Aurora High School in 1972 where he played football and was on the wrestling team. Dave played rugby for Maori Rugby Club from its founding in 1975 until he was 40 years old.
He was a proud union pipefitter for Local 501/597 since 1996. Dave was a friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W. for 25 years.
He is survived by his son, Clayton who he dearly loved; his wife, Lorraine "Cindy"; brother Dennis (Penny), and two nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmon; his mother, Dorothy; his brother, James and niece, Patricia.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 30th at 11:00 AM at St. Olaf Church, 1233 Douglas Ave. in Montgomery, IL.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dave's honor to his favorite charity Wayside Cross Ministries.

Knew Dave well during high school and beyond. Fond memories of when the two of us as a team would challenge anyone for a little two on two basketball at the Y. No doubt he will be missed!
