Eileen Asher Obituary

Eileen Marie Asher (nee Brickert), 59, of Milaca, MN, formerly of Big Rock and Aurora, passed away June 22, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her family.

Eileen was born on May 26, 1948, to Robert and Rose (Olson) Brickert in Aurora, IL. Eileen graduated from the Hinckley-Big Rock High School in Hinckley, IL in 1966. She worked at Lakone Plastics for several years. She was united in marriage to Harlan Asher on December 17, 1976 in Aurora, IL. In April of 1983, the couple moved to the Milaca, MN. Eileen moved back to Illinois for several years where she was employed by Aurora University in food service. She attended Park Place Baptist Church in Montgomery, IL where she taught Sunday School and enjoyed singing. In 2004, she moved back to Minnesota. Eileen enjoyed living close to her children and grandchildren and was an avid Cubs fan.

She is survived by children, Robert (Cynde) Lambert of East Bethel, MN, Misty Lambert of Foreston, MN, Martha (Mike) Otten of Milaca, MN, and Heidi Asher of Foreston, MN; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Rose Aldrich and husband LeRoy of Aurora; one sister, Donna (Louis) Nauman of Yorkville, IL; and brother, Bill (Jane) Brickert of Big Rock, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan; her father; and her sister, Martha.

Memorial services were held 1 PM Monday, June 25, 2007 at the Peterson Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Interment was in the Borgholm Cemetery near Bock.
