I will truely miss you. We were the team 1967 1974.all the dance routines we did that drrew crowds doing flips into spilt. My old chevy wagon huling our first band 1972 to gigs
I sure wish you had come to Arizona in 2009 when I asked you to I couldn't hear the band and I've got to see you again but we were both just a little too busy I'm glad you made it 10 life back when I knew you I didn't know if either one of us could make it sorry I missed you bro you take care

Many,many years ago I had the privilege of playing with Elgie for a time. I a was bass guitarist just starting off and I learned alot from playing with him,he was a good and generous soul and I've never forgotten him even though I moved on to other things. Frankly I am ashamed it's taken me so long to find out he passed on. He was a fine man and I consider myself blessed to have known him even if only briefly.

I have known my good brother Elga for over 48 years. Across all those years as everything changed one thing remained the same--Elga. We hung out downtown in the 60s and then at Tops Big Boy. We went to a lot of parties, music festivals and Dead concerts. He was always ready to have a good time and he was always a lot of fun. No matter where we went, everybody knew Elga. He was just such a memorable guy. He cared a lot about people. Though I moved away 40 years ago, when I came home I always looked up Elga and it was always great to see him. I will really miss him but I am so glad for all the good times we had together. Peace is yours now, Elga.

First met Elgie when he was working the train stations. Elgie was a good man who was always very cooperative as we attempted to perform our duties for the City of Aurora. He never allowed ethnic or racial differences to mark his personality. I totally appreciated him because we were alike. I will miss Elgie as I had been thinking I should call him not realizing he was sick. I will truly miss my times with Elgie. Rest in Peace my friend

My prayers & condolences to the Edmunds family. I met Elgin/Elga through Bay & Jessica House. He was always smiling. He seemed to be quite a character. I pray the family know their loved one is probably smiling more than ever before now!

My sympathies to Elga's family. Having known Elga all through our adolescent years, we shared experiences that only happen when we are young. Touched bases throughout the years and was fortunate enough to visit shortly before he passed. Elga was the kind of person who was valued over a lifetime and will truly be missed.

My sympathies to the family. I worked in the motor vehicle department(18 years ago) when I met him and I remember being skeptic about his healing hands when he offered to help me get rid of a terrible headache but I allowed him to try and he truly made a believer out of me that he had healing hands.

Elga will be so missed. I have known him since our days at East High and when his closest friend, the late Glenn Richmond ,worked with my husband Warren. He was a wonderful person and I will so miss his kind and cheerful face at events around Aurora. Bluesfest won't be the same without him. For now he has gone to play his music with his heroes of long ago. I am sure he and Jimi are rocking out right now. RIP Elga. We were so lucky to have known you.

My heart was heavy when I found he passed. He was a wonderful grandfather to my boys. He loved everyone!! He was like a dad to me. He was always making sure we were straight. If you didn't have no where to go he had open doors for ya!! He would give his shirt off his back if you needed. I thought he was weird, but also cool at the same time. He always made me laugh when I was around him. He was the life of the party. We know God has an awesome angel now. He's probably up there cracking jokes. Imaging every laugh. I love you dude. You will be missed dearly. To Angie and Elgie I am sorry for your loss. One thing for sure he' will always be your side in your heart. He gave all of us sweet. Memories. So we'll never forget him. We can always look back and laugh, and have tears at the same time. But you beat believe them tears we shed will be tears of joy!!! So Elga with all that said. I'm not gonna say goodbye. But rather see you later!! It was a pleasure to have meet you!!
