Age 93, formerly of Elmira, NY passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Ghent, NY. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira in Tuesday, October 2nd from 11 am to 12 noon. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Now that I am well enough to pay attention to others I find that some of my favorite friends and relatives have passed. I like the way my grandsons used to mix Jane with my mother.They both said it was strong roots.She was a lovely person who brought light into a day with her smile.

Swain Family i am so sorryfor the loss of your mother and grandmother Dear Jane i will never forget you for everything you have done for me. all the times you listen to me, and the things you would say over coffee in the mornings. Jane you will allways be in my heart. Now Jane and Mary are together again. Love you allways
