Josef Zimniak Obituary

Zimniak, Josef S. Age 87, of Oswego, IL formerly of Yonkers, Westchester County, NY died Sunday, February 5, 2012. He was born January 1, 1925 in Poland. Josef was a member of St Casimir Catholic Church in Yonkers, NY. Prior to retirement Josef was a general contractor in the Westchester County, NY area. Josef is survived by a daughter Christine (John) Baum of Webster, NY, three sons Henry Zimniak of Oswego, IL, John (Michele) Zimniak of Highland Mills, NY, Joseph (Kathleen) Zimniak of Cumming, GA; six grandchildren Lisa (James) Kunde of Union, IL, Michael Zimniak of Austin, TX, Julia Baum of Brooklyn, NY, Jacqueline Baum of Rochester, NY, Tiffany Zimniak of Cumming, GA, Alexis Zimniack of Cumming, GA; two great grandchildren Alexis Kunde, Daniel Kunde both of Union, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsa nee Reger Zimniak and a daughter in law Louise M nee Timoteo Zimniak. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 South Douglas Road Oswego, IL from 9:00 until time of departure at 9:30 to St Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial celebrated by Fr. David Hankus. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Aurora, IL. For additional information 630/554-3888.
