Kyle Von Hoff

Von Hoff, Kyle Kameron Age 23, of Oswego, IL passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home. He was born on January 10, 1990 in Aurora, IL, the son of Jerilyn (Nicholson) Von Hoff and Guy Von Hoff. Kyle was 3 months old when he contracted bacterial meningitis and became severely disabled as a result of the disease. Even though Kyle had many disabilities he had a very laid back and mellow personality. Kyle attended Hope D. Wall school in Aurora, IL in 1993,1994, and 1995. From there he was at Yorkville Grade School and Oswego High School. He also attended The Rainbow Center and Spot 4 Kids for physical and occupational therapies. Kyle, may you now be free to experience your seven wonders of the world. The gifts of sight, hearing, eating, touching, walking, speaking and most of all the ability to feel love and give love in return. Even though you did not have any of these abilities we hope you can now be free to live how you always should have. It was truly a blessing to have you as our son. Remember to watch over us our sweet boy. We will love you and miss you forever! He is survived by his mother, Jerilyn and partner Tom Thomas of Oswego, IL; his father, Guy (Karen) Von Hoff of Sublette, IL; his half brother, Derek (Ashley) Von Hoff and their daughter Reagan of Colorado; his half sister, Jourdan Von Hoff of Roselle, IL; his stepsisters, Lauren (Daniel) Betz and their daughter Isabella of Naperville, IL and Katelyn Grimes of Naperville, IL; his uncles, Joe (Amy) Nicholson of Oswego, IL and Jay Nicholson of Yorkville, IL; his aunt, Kim (Kurt) Miller of Sublette, IL; his special cousins, Drew and Lauren Nicholson of Oswego, IL and Brett Miller of Sublette, IL; his loving grandfathers, Jerry Nicholson of Tucson, AZ and Charles Von Hoff of Sublette, IL; also his Thomas family, Fred and Bonnie Thomas of Aurora, IL, Tim and Ermita Thomas of Montgomery, IL, Todd and Rae Thomas of Sugar Grove, IL, and Teri and Ron Zech of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Jan Nicholson and Joyce Von Hoff; and his very own angel of song, cousin, Jessika L. Baier of Michigan. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy., Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private. Friends may visit from 12:00 until the Hour of Service on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope D.
