Marie Leedom Obituary
Prior to her retirement in 2009 she was employed as a receptionist at Aurora Bearing Company in Aurora IL. She enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society in Aurora, IL. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Michael) Behnke, adopted daughters Leanna Precup and Margaret Dee, nephew (and adopted son) Mike Wolgast, granddaughter Jacklyn Behnke, adopted granddaughter Evelyn Precup, and sister Joyce Bolly of Beloit, WI. She was preceded by her parents, husband Jack Leedom, daughter Kristine Maher, and grandson Tyler Behnke.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 3:00PM until the funeral service at 7:00PM with Rev. Roy Fry at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL. Cremation will follow with inurnment of the cremains later at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
