Rick was beloved by everyone that knew him because of his kind heart and great sense of humor. He attended Living Water Wesleyan Church in Ocala, where he regularly helped run the sound board for Sunday services and provided support for the Youth Ministry at the Church. Rick lived the last year of his life to the fullest, spending time with Karen between Florida and Wisconsin and going on trips to Disney, Mexico, New Mexico, the Smoky Mountains and most recently a cruise to the Caribbean. He also enjoyed driving his new Corvette and attending local car shows.
