That's "Me Pap". The Man who gave me everything including life itself. You were a great father and and best friend right up to your last hours which I had the extreme pleasure of spending with you. A towering man who loved and served his country. Friend to all and father to more than just my sister and I. You left some big shoes Daddy but I promise to make the fit. Hope you are enjoying the company of Our King and I hope Mom is not too hard on you. See you on the other side. Dad always told me to plan on living to the ripe age of 200 years old and avoid the midlife crisis. Working so far and if I can just get past losing You.... I got this, Love Dickie.

Dick & Joy,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great joy and I will always remember him fondly. He was so good to me when we were so young. When I think of him , for some reason I always think of that old yellow and white DeSoto. He and your mom are together again. You are all in my thoughts and prayers-Nancy Bretthauer Pierce
