Carolyn Cofer Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carolyn Albright Cofer.

Carolyn, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed peacefully surrounded by love on December 31, 2025 in Lancaster, CA. She will be remembered most for her generous heart, her welcoming home and her love for Southern cooking for the people she cared about. Her life was deeply connected by love, family and faith.

Her life was marked by strong opinions, independence and a personality that left an impression on those who knew her. She spoke her mind, held firm to her beliefs and lived life on her own terms. Those closest to her knew her as someone who was direct and unapologetically herself. Carolyn was part of a family that shared experiences and lessons leaving lasting memories. She will be remembered for the role she played in shaping the family story.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Steve Cofer, her sisters Brenda Falitz & Yvonne Foutch, her sons, Curtis (Jessica) Albright, Brian (Stephanie) McMahan, her stepsons Michael (Crystal) & Ryan (Brandi) Cofer, her grandchildren Jacob & Jordon (Bethany) Albright & Emma McMahan, her step grandchildren Jonathan, Amber, Zachary & Lucy and her first great grandchild Brody Albright.

No services will be held at this time. The family is grateful for the love and support of friends and asks that Carolyn be remembered in quiet reflection.

She will be deeply missed, always remembered and forever loved.

My condolences go out to all of Carolyn´s family and pray you will be comforted in your grieving

My favorite memory of Carolyn was in our early years when we decided spur of the moment to fly to Hawaii for a vacation. We planed it in less than a week and hopped on a plane and flew to Oahu. We had the best time and had so much fun I loved her laugh and we laughed a lot. She was a wonderful sister in law.
