Phillip Sheppard February 18, 1957 - March 28, 2024 Lancaster - Phillip E. Sheppard of Lancaster, CA, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Phil was born on February 18, 1957 in Hawthorne, CA. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Sheppard for 42 years, and a devoted father and father-in-law to Sara (Austin) Brady, Shauna (Andrew) Costinett, and Adam (Sarah) Sheppard. Phil was an amazing grandpa to his four grandchildren, Jackson Brady, Nola Brady, Katie Costinett, and Lucas Costinett. Phil took great pride in his family and he would often say of all the things he built in his life, his family was his greatest accomplishment and what he was most proud of. Phil was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Janice (Joy) Sheppard, and his brothers David and Michael Sheppard. As the owner of Sheppard Concrete Construction, Phil found great fulfillment in his work and he was respected by all who knew him. His dedication and hard work were evident in all aspects of his life, and his commitment to excellence extended beyond his professional life to his family, friends, and community. Phil will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Phil's honor. A ceremony to celebrate Phil's life will be held on April 19, 2024, at 1:00 at Joshua Mortuary, 808 E. Lancaster Blvd., Lancaster, CA.
