Ralph Roper Obituary


Longtime former valley resident and owner of Plaza Meats, Ralph J. Roper dies at 91 years old.
 
It is with extremely heavy hearts that the family of Ralph J. Roper announce his recent passing in Coachella Valley, CA where he retired in 2003. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Pat, children Randy Roper, Joe Paesano, Gina Paesano-Rogers (Randy). He is preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Cozier, Ricky Roper and Maria Paesano. Ralph had 17grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and his many friends over the years. Ralph had served the public for over 50 years, was a member of the Lancaster Elks Lodge 1625, a veteran of the United States Navy and known for his rendition of Elvis' "Hound Dog." He will be laid to rest in the mausoleum section at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 N. Sierra Hwy., Newhall, CA. on Monday, May 19, 2025. Chapel service at 2:00 p.m., followed by gravesite at 3:00 p.m.
