Shane Anthony LOWE

Age 59. On May 20, 2022, the life of Shane Anthony Lowe ended suddenly when a driver under the influence ran through a red light in Orange, Calif. Shane is preceded in death by his parents, sister Jeanette Sheridan, brothers Sean Lowe and Mark Lowe and his beloved dog Maylee. He is survived by the love of his life Cathy, his brothers James Lowe (Pamela) and Matthew Lowe (Kay) and sisters Terese Hampton, Chris Pursley (Dennis) and Shannon Calandri, as well as many nieces and nephews whom he adored. As the youngest of nine children, Shane learned at an early age, how to speak up and make his own way. It's a skill he applied to many aspects of his life, including real estate, politics, golf, tennis, dog training and film making. It was rare to see Shane without a camera and a smile. He was known by all for his humor and big heart. Shane had a beautiful capacity to care for others, including the homeless and marginalized. He was fiercely loyal, especially to his family and was the first to help anyone in trouble. Shane lived his life with passion and was dearly loved by all. The unexpected and traumatic loss of Shane is especially hard, but we have hope we will see him again even amid our deepest grief. In John 14:1-3 Jesus said, "Let not your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also."
We will be remembering Shane on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Los Alamitos Race Course, located at 4961 Katella Ave. in Cypress, Calif. Flags have been flown at half-staff at the Los Alamitos Race Track and at the Mesa Verde Country Club in honor of Shane.
