For 5 years I have been trying to get in touch with Albert. I got married, he moved to Sachaton, I got divorced and moved to way North Scottsdale. Last time I talked to him he was sad. I was in a hurry. Through the years I've searched Facebook, mySpace, LinkedIn, online white pages, etc. I called him old number, emailed his old addressed. I found no trace of him. Today I tried again, I don't know why, but today I found this. I am sad. I always thought I would get to talk to him again. To remind his of when he used to tell me that when he got married I was going to be his best woMAN at his wedding. To remember all the old times I'd take him and even Rafala to my mom's. I'm sorry my old friend. Although you are gone and have been, you will always live on in my memories and thoughts because I think of you often.

Darlene,

I am heartbroken to hear the passing of a very dear friend of mine. Albert was my first true love and he will always hold this place in my heart and soul. I would compare his love, strength and loyalty in such high regard that I knew his love was a rare gift that was given to a very few. I knew in my heart that this was my only first true love. We were able stayed connected throughout our lifetime. He was always so smart, intelligent and a way with words (while this is written a smile has formed because of his KAT ATTITUDE)to get what he wanted with his smile, wit and sharp mind. He was always willing to be there when I needed him. I remember how he would talk of you and Shawn. How he thought of you as his smart, beautiful, loving and caring mom. How when we were to build our life together and how we were going to teach our children to read because that is what you did for him. Albert would tell me of your relationship and I knew that he held you to such a high standard that it was hard for any one to meet that. He expected perfection because that is what was given to him a PERFECT LOVE. I remeber once we spoke on how a child-parent love is instant strong bond. He could not understand how you can love anyone instantly. I told him it was when you look at someone and your breath is taken away and there is nothing can shatter this. I know in my heart that you gave him this. A Forever love. He loved great because he was given great love. Thank you for giving that to him and this love was given to me and it has changed my life forever. He touched my heart, soul and mind and the tears I shed carry a memory of our time together. Darlene, when you find the strength to talk about him with a person who truly loved him, please call me and I will share my stories, laughter and tears with you. Until We Meet Again, Shawnna Wabaunsee 785-580-6749.
