Alexander Cristy

February 15, 1964 - November 30, 2020

Alexander was born February 15, 1964 in Bronx NY, to parents Victor Manuel and Yvonne Cristy, and passed away suddenly in Des Moines Iowa November 30, 2020, due to COVID 19, he was 56 years old. He was cremated at Hamiltons Funeral Home in Iowa and returned home to Arizona.

Alexander graduated from Seoul American High School, Seoul Korea. Alexander was in the United States Army from 1984 - 1989. He worked for BMC West Building Supply Tacoma WA, Oregon Steel Portland OR and for the last 17 years, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), home union local 640 - Phoenix AZ, working out of union local 347 - Des Moines IA.

Alexander was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle, and will be remembered by his children Anjelina, Nicholas, Rohna and husband Jason Giles, former spouse Rae Layna L. Cristy, Mother Yvonne Cristy, sisters Sonia Leaphart, Liza Cristy, Brothers Victor Cristy and wife Mary, Angel Cristy and wife Laura. Niece Katelynn and husband Patrick Lewis, nephews Marcus, Manuel, Darrius and wife Nicole, Antonio, Symon, Eric and Everand Jr., Step mother Sue Yong Jones, great niece Corina and great nephew Jayden, as well as many more families, friends and loved ones.

As much as Alex enjoyed a gathering of friends and family, no services will be held at this time

We hope to hold a memorial at a later date.

Isaiah 57:1

Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time.

Alexander is rejoicing with the Angels in heaven, he is home.
