Amy Chervenak Obituary
Amy Elizabeth, age 47, of Cave Creek Arizona passed away on November 29th. She is survived by husband Steve, daughters Kinsey and Celia, parents Cindy and Gary Robinson and Frank Hillier and brother Mike Hillier. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials in Amy's name are preferred in lieu of flowers to the following: National Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater New England Chapter PO Box 845945 Boston, MA 02284-5945. Amy was my PA @ Mayo for several years. I will miss her terribly! I received notification of her death by letter from MAYO after returning from Christmas vacation. I was shocked and saddened by the news. I was unable to see her on my last appt in October and found it extremely odd that she didn't call to say we have to go over your results. I send my deepest condolences to Amy's family! Rest in heavenly peace Amy, you will be greatly missed by Rick and I!

I was under Amy's care for the past year of my life. She was beyond wonderful. Her intelligence, her kindness and her concern were truly something rare. I was shocked and saddened learning of her sudden passing. She had helped me to live, but sadly I could not return the favor. As Henry Van Dyke so beautifully puts it in:
Gone From My Sight
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."
Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"
And that is dying...
RIP dear Amy.

Amy took care of me for many, many years. When I was finally cured, we both cried. What a great, caring, kind person. we need more Amy's in this world.

Prayers & condolences to the family. I have been a patient of Amy for the past three years at the Mayo Clinic. I would see her twice a year, she was a caring and I am sure a loving wife & mother. Just received in mail today notification of her passing. May God Bless & give strength to her loved ones.

Amy, You had been my physician for 3 years. I saw you again yor my follow up just 2 short months ago and we spent an hour sharing stories and laughing, remember?. You were one of the sweetest and kindest persons I've ever known. I can hardly believe this has happened. There are no words to express my sorrow. I will miss you and your playful smile. You have given so much to so many. Oh Amy, I am so deeply sorry. Rest gently in God's arms Amy.

For years, Amy was my PA, in the Hepatology Dept, at the Mayo Clinic. She was the most knowledgable, and caring person, who ever treated me. She even took out the time to call me at home, when she had a concern. She will be sorely missed. My condolences to her husband, and daughters.
