Andrew Laubmeier Obituary
Andrew Francis Laubmeier, 71, of Phoenix passed away September 22, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona. Andrew was born August 24, 1943 in Phoenix Arizona, he attended St. Mary's High School and Arizona State University and achieved a Bachelor's degree in 1966. Andy was a Certified Public accountant and had been a partner at Dennis, Schmich & Company CPA's of Phoenix. Andy married Diane Roloff January 14, 1967 in Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his wife Diane his sons; Steven and significant other Lisa, Dr. Jeffrey Laubmeier and wife Jennifer of Cleveland Ohio, daughters; Andrea Gibson and husband James of Sahuarita, Arizona Stephanie Campbell and husband Christopher of Mesa, Arizona, brothers; George and Edward Laubmeier of Phoenix, Arizona, sisters; Patricia Laubmeier and Mary Raper of Phoenix, Arizona, grandchildren; Emily, A.J. , Kellan, Grayson, Oliver and Aiden. Family suggests donations to the Bridgeway Community Church 2420 E. Liberty Lane, Phoenix Arizona 85048, Attention: Africa/ Swaziserv (in memo line) and Power Paws Assistance Dogs, www.azpowerpaws.org, 1201 N. 85th Place, Suite B 101 Scottsdale Arizona 85257. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, at Carr Tenney Mortuary 2621 S. Rural Rd. Tempe, from 6pm to 8pm with Rosary services at 7pm. A Funeral mass will be held Friday, September 26, 10am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3550 E. Knox Road, Phoenix. Arrangements entrusted to Carr Tenney Mortuary www.carrtenneymortuary.com.

I was a rookie accountant working on an audit with Andy as my supervisor with Ernst & Ernst in the late 60's. During that job, Andy told me to not worry about what others are doing or not doing, that I should always do the best that I could and be the best that I could be.
Andy was my friend from that time forward and always greeted me with a friendly smile. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
