Ann Watson Obituary

Ann, Watson
Ann Watson, 56 years old, died at her Cave Creek, AZ home on February 9, 2012 following a prolonged fight with cancer. Ann was described as enthusiastic, caring and helpful. Family and friends also spoke to Ann's marvelous sense of humor and an engaging and infectious laugh that could ripple through a group and brighten spirits. During Ann's challenges with breast cancer, she displayed determination, courage, and an unyielding joy for life and for the gifts of her faith, nature, family and friends. As a member of the Camelback Church of Christ and inspired by that quotation, Ann donated materials to her church the "Blankets and Shoes" project to provide for orphans living in the bush in Africa. 150 blankets are now enroute. Ann is survived by her husband Richard Watson and two daughters, Gina and Kelly Yates. Survivors also include Ann's mother, Dorothy Ambrose, and two brothers. The family of Ann expresses deep appreciation and gratitude to members of the Camelback Church of Chris, The Wellness Community of Phoenix, to neighbors and friends, Hospice of the Valley, and to CTCA for their compassion and support. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, February 13th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ann's memory to Creative Arts in Healing -Joy Kockerbeck.
