Arthur Florio Obituary

Florio, Arthur P.
Phoenix, AZ, born April 01, 1931 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Santillo) Florio (Ortley Beach, NJ) passed away July 13, 2009 with his family at his side. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, family-man and friend, Arthur is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda L. Florio (Phoenix), brother, Richard Florio (Fairlawn, NJ), daughters, Lynn-Marie Johnson (Scottsdale) and Gina Florio (Phoenix), son, Michael A. Florio (Scottsdale), son-in-law, Bruce L. Johnson, daughter-in-law, Constance J. Florio and grandchildren, Aria, Dylan and Erin as well as, numerous extended family members across the country. Arthur ("Artie"), a Korean War-era veteran honorably served the country as a corporal in US Army and was a member of Wood, Wire and Metal Lathers Union – Local #143 (Paterson, NJ). Arthur relocated to Arizona in November 1977; began a new career in sales prior to retirement in 1993. A memorial service will be held at 3PM, Sunday, July 19, 2009, Hansen Desert Hill Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85254. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the America Lung Association - www.lungusa.org
