A friend that I enjoyed being with, although it has been awhile.
Fellow member of the Tempe Elks, he was a man I greatly admired and repected.
God bless him and his family.

Art was one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. He always had something good to say. He was always quick with a compliment and I never heard him criticize. He was humble and never brought attention to himself even though it would have been easy to do so. Art was a distinguished veteran and a hero. He was a constant worker for the Tempe Elks. He was always ready and happy to do whatever was asked of him. You could see how much he loved Ellen just by watching his eyes when he looked at her. Art will be missed by a great many people including me.
