Marthaler, Aspen Nicole
35 years old, passed peacefully at her residence Monday, March 3rd, 2014. Surrounded by her Family, embraced by God and wrapped in Love she danced her way into Heaven. Aspen was loved by all that knew her, inspired thousands and truly shined her light bright. Born to John and Mary Elizabeth Hatch February 22, 1979 in Durango, CO. Aspen grew up in Farmington, NM and moved to Phoenix after graduating from Texas Tech University. She married Peter Joseph Marthaler in May of 2006 and they lived together with their two children in Gilbert, AZ. Aspen's family was the center of her life and the foundation of her happiness. Aspen is survived by her two children; Banyan and Briar Marthaler, her husband Pete Marthaler, her grandmother Lorraine Stimac, parents John and Mary Elizabeth Hatch and her sister Marohn Lyons. Aspen is also survived by numerous Brothers and Sisters In-law, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family, Friends and PHB's. A celebration of her life will be held at The Doubletree Elegante Event Center; 1800 S. Santan Village Pkwy, Gilbert, AZ 85295 on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting charitable contributions to be made to Peach's Neet Feet www.peachsneetfeet.com and/or Ishikawa Elementary; 2635 N. 32nd St, Mesa, AZ 85213 Aspen's stamp on life is threefold; God is Love, Dance like no one is watching and Get your Guns up! Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary, Mesa, AZ.
