To the Bremen Family,
Barry was one of a kind. He and Margo had a wonderful family that I missed greatly after leaving Michigan. I hope the joy of his memories outweigh the sorrows of losing him.
All the Best,

Me deepest condolences. Barry and I got to know each other at Wellements where I was the Controller. I always enjoyed the time we spent when he came in once or twice a month. He always took the time to stop by and say hi. I will miss that.

Dear Margo:
I am SO sorry to hear of your loss. I truly idolized Barry and found him to be a very "real" person. Though we had lost touch in recent years, the thought of him brings a smile to my face. He always wanted a Boston Celtic warmup and, at a basketball game together, he begged me to take one for him. He was too well known and would have been recognized and I "chickened" out at the very last minute.
There was only one Barry!
Best to you and your family,
Jerry Jaffee

Dear Margo, Erin, Noah and Adam,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are so sad and shook up to hear this news about Barry.
How do you find the right words to say about such an incredible man like Barry, but we will try our best.
We feel so blessed that we knew Barry and have the fondest memories that we will cherish forever. His smile, his positive attitude on life, his outgoing personality and how he could always make us laugh. There was something so contagious about his smile that no matter what kind of day you were having all that went away and you couldn't help, but smile back.
Margo, remember our trip to Hong Kong? What fun we had spending time with both of you!
He was the most wonderful family man and loved you all so much.
Please know we are always here for you, and may all your loving memories bring you comfort.
All Our Love,
Isabelle and Irwin

For Margo, Noah, Adam, Erin...Barry was one of the good guys. The best I can say is I knew him long enough to know that I wish I'd known him longer, deeper, better. He could make me laugh. All my sympathies. He will be missed.

I didn't know Barry long, but he always made you feel like you were an old friend. You could walk along the old entrance of the Kmart headquarters lobby, and if he spotted you he would certainly shout out a hello. He was filled with mischievous and joy. He will be missed. My prayers go out the family and friends he has left behind. Denise Parr

When I moved to Michigan with Kmart, Barry was one of the first to call on me, and will always be considered a true friend and a "real" person. His great smile, his resonating laughter, and his dedication to his family are only a few of the wonderful traits I'll never forget. I recently looked at the Barry Breman autographed copy of Dick Schapp's book with a chapter on "The Great Imposter". The world, and I will miss Barry- "They don't make 'em like that anymore!" . My deepest sympathy go out to Margo and all the family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Barry when I first got into the Housewares business at a show in Chicago over 20 years ago. While we never worked together, he'd always encouraged me to run my business better and never hesitated to pop into my booth to say a Barry "hello" with that big grin and robust personality. I am saddened by his passing and wish he and his family strength and support as they mourn his loss.

I first met Barry back in his early days with New York Life. I could tell immediately, as you sometimes can, that a very special soul had just touched my life. His grin was contagious. You couldn’t help but smile back and you couldn’t help but like him. He quickly became one of my favorite people. We kept in touch over the next several years. At one point I was even honored to be President of the Barry Bremen Fan Club.
How sad I was to hear of his passing. I’ve not seen him in many years, but he remains to this day, one of the most incredible people I’ve ever known and he will always have a very special place in my heart. What a loss for each and every person his life touched along his journey … and what a loss for those who will now never have that opportunity. May the wonderful memories that his family have help them through this difficult time. And to you Barry … Rest Well, my friend.

My name is Sandy Lang,
When I first met Barry years ago I went to his office with products. He was so kind to me, and took me for lunch and dinner, and golf. We laughed all day. I trusted Barry instantly. I spoke to Barry months ago about doctor's etc. His courage was second to none. Barry was ONE OF A KIND. It is no surprise to anyone that he has such a wonderful son like Noah and such a beautiful family. My deepest regrets of such a loss goes out to all. The best of everything to your family...Sandy Lang

Margo,
When I heard about Barry's passing I felt so horrible. Although we haven't seen each other in a long time, you guys have never been out of my mind. I most recently saw Barry in Vegas a couple years ago, and that bright smile and great sense of living will be what I remember. When the ceremonies are over please go on and live like he would want you to do.

My Condolences to the Barry Bremen Family.....Barry was a special friend; he invited me to play golf; I invited him to play golf....and we enjoyed each other's company on and off the golf course...We met years ago at a convention and always enjoyed our business ventures which were both fun and fulfilling.
He was the Number 1 Sports Impersonator I ever knew....what joy and fun he provided everyone. He surely was an outstanding identity and will be missed by all of his friends.
