My dear Ben was a refined gentleman, a rare jewel defined by his grace, compassion, integrity, and deep love and commitment to family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a "twinkle" in his eye--people naturally gravitated to him. Ben was my Father's dearest friend, so I was fortunate to know and love him too!
I join everyone whose lives were impacted by this dear, sweet, kind and generous man to remember a "gentle giant" with a love of golf, the arts, friends, relatives and above all, to Mark and Gail, whom I extend my deepest sympathy.
Life does not cease, it just changes form and so now I have my memory of Ben and it will always be with me.
And Ben, "you're beautiful"....
With love always,
Jori

To all who loved Ben Kramer, I am sorry for your loss. I am not sure I ever met Ben, but I heard many, many wonderful stories about him. Each story was a tribute to his sense of humor, his kindness, and his character. May he rest well in peace.

Mark,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I remember meeting your father back in 1978. He was very kind to me even though I had just left PB Wellington. I remember he told me that " you young fast food guys wouldn't last a shift in a full service restaurant"!

Ben was my Father's Best Friend. Ben and Gail, and Allan and Patty; they loved spending time together. Meeting Ben late in life, I found him profoundly kind, loving and gregarious about life. My wife, Aurora, and I spent time with the four of them, times filled with laughter, life, and Ben's signature saying "You know, (fill-in name, here)". I still can hear him. Ben, you are loved, and missed.

Mark,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I met your father on a couple of occasions back in the late 70's; even though I was no longer working for you he was very courteous and friendly. He once told me that none of us young fast-food guys would last a shift in a full service restaurant!
