Betty Tezak Obituary
passed away to God's loving embrace in her home in Mesa, Arizona on December 6, 2013 at age 91. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Quintin Robert (Bob) Tezak, her son Robert J. ( fiancée Penelope Mooney) Tezak, former Will County Coroner and founder of International Games Inc., makers of the Uno card game, her daughter Donna (Joseph ) Cusimano; grandchildren Mark Tezak, Gina (James) Cusimano Kopczynski , Jillian Cusimano, Tiffany (Brett) Tezak Harper; great grandchildren, Andrew, Ava, and Lily Kopczynski, Hayden and Dyllan Harper; one sister, Helen Kirkman. Betty and her husband Bob owned and operated Tezak Florist in Joliet, Illinois for over 50 years. Betty enjoyed talking to and helping her customers while Bob arranged the flowers. Betty was a strong woman of faith with a sunny disposition and an outgoing personality. She will be greatly missed by all those who have been blessed by knowing her. The family will greet friends
at Messinger Indian School Mortuary Chapel, 7601 East Indian School Road , Scottsdale on Thursday December 12, 2013 at 1 PM. Services at 2 PM at the chapel.

Quintin, Bobby and Donna,
It sadden out hearts to hear of Betty's passing. She was the kindest and nicest person anyone could have known. We were lucky enough to spend almost everyday for 15 years around her living about the Florist. She made us laugh and always so sweet. Our deepest sympathy goes to all the Tezaks at this time. I'm so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. Betty was a wonderful neighbor and always had a smile for us. I'll always remember her banana cake and how she'd sneak to bake it during the summer because Bob didn't like her to use the oven!
