Brent Basham Obituary
55 of Phoenix, passed away on September15, 2017. Brent's valiant fight against pancreatic cancer began March 2017 & ended at Hospice of the Valley with his parents, brother & sister-in-law at his bedside. His battle was lovingly supported by many friends & family members. Brent's life was filled with special friends who miss him dearly. He was devoted to his family, friends, fitness, & his start-up IT company. Brent was a man of many passions including running, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, music, & exercise. His favorite pastimes were spent with his son & family who greatly miss his love, laughter & light. He is best remembered for his bright smile, huge heart & his undying love for his precious son & family. Brent is survived by his son, Jeremy Richard Basham, his parents, Del & Bonnie Anderson, his brothers Scott Basham (Stacy), Kenny Basham (Sandra), his sisters Lori Ann Austin (Roger) & Lisa Marie Doran, & step-siblings, Debra Wolniak, Jennifer Becwar & Kevin Anderson. Brent was a beloved uncle to 7 nieces: Brittany, Brianne, Brooklyn, Nicole, Ashley, Lindsay, & Lacey; and 3 nephews: Joshua, Trevor & Danny. He is also survived by 13 great nieces & nephews; his aunts: Bobbi Weisbach & Gloria Kruzan (Dan); his uncles: Ron Bilyou & Robert Mann; & many beloved cousins. His father, Everett Basham, 3 aunts & 1 uncle preceded him in death. In accordance with Brent's wishes, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of gifts or flowers, please donate to Hospice of the Valley, 9435 W. Peoria Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85345-6479.

You were a great man with a hearty, patient, loving soul. This earth will miss your smiling face. May the Lord welcome you with open arms and provide you the glory of his grace. We will meet again, my friend. Until then, may you watch over your son and family and bring them comfort in knowing that you have risen to be seated next to our Savior, Father and Son. Thank you for the memories and for the time that you showed me the unconditional love that everyone should know, like I did, and appreciate. Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry for your loss of your loved one. I can only imagine how difficult it is to put up such a hard fight another come out successful. Life presents difficulties that are not fair. May the Creator provide comfort during this time period and shed light on his answer to human difficulties.
